The Digital Galaxie has been developped on the Galaxie press base (more than 200 units installed) but adapted to the HP numerical press different formats .

Priming machine specially dedicated to apply primer coating before digital printing. The machine is simply to use and solid and secure.

The set up time is very short and maintenance is reduced to a minimum.

This model has been developed from the Comet+ concept. This providing a piece of equipment that is renowned for it's reliability and ease of use.

With such advantages as the two part slitting cassette and the ultrasonic printed line reading web guide.

The Comet Digital is providing in one pass all the necessary functions for converting and finishing labels previously printed on a digital press as :

• Accurate web positioning by an ultrasonic web guiding system registering a printed line.
• Full width flood coated UV varnishing.
• Registered or "spot" varnishing (optional).
• Lamination (optional).
• Cold foiling (optional).
• Semi rotary die cutting in accurate registration.
• Waste rewinding.
• Inspection of missing labels & waste matrix faults (option)
